Ireland has won the Rugby World Cup zero times, with their best performance being a semi-final appearance in 1991. They have participated in every Rugby World Cup since the tournament's inception in 1987 and have consistently reached the quarter-finals in recent tournaments, including 2019 when they ranked second in the world before their quarter-final exit.
