Ireland has won the Six Nations Grand Slam three times: in 1948, 2009, and 2018. The 2009 Grand Slam, achieved under coach Declan Kidney, is particularly notable as it came during a golden era for Irish rugby. The most recent Grand Slam in 2018 was won under Joe Schmidt's management.
