The 2009 Heineken Cup semi-final won by Leinster 25-6 and the 2006 final won by Munster 13-6 are widely regarded as the greatest matches in this rivalry. Other standout encounters include Munster's 2008 victory and Leinster's dominant 2011-2012 period, though the 2006 final remains iconic for Munster's emotional triumph at Lansdowne Road.
