Ulster Rugby has won the Irish provincial championship 27 times, most recently in 2006, with their first title coming in 1927. The province has been a dominant force in Irish rugby, competing in the Ulster Senior League and later the All-Ireland League since its establishment. Ulster remains one of Ireland's four professional provinces under the IRFU structure.
