Munster and Leinster's rivalry is one of rugby's fiercest, dating back decades with intense interprovincial competition. Leinster historically holds a superior overall record against Munster, though Munster has claimed memorable victories, particularly in the 1970s-80s. Both provinces have dominated Irish and European rugby, making their clashes among the most competitive and passionate fixtures in the sport.
