Ireland has won the Six Nations Grand Slam three times: in 1948, 2009, and 2018. The 2009 Grand Slam, achieved under coach Declan Kidney, was particularly notable as it ended a 61-year drought since their previous Grand Slam victory in 1948. The 2018 Grand Slam, coached by Joe Schmidt, marked Ireland's most recent championship success in the tournament.
