Ulster and Connacht are two of Ireland's four provincial rugby teams, with Ulster historically the stronger side, winning more Heineken Cups (3) and Pro14 titles. Ulster, based in Belfast, draws support from Northern Ireland and competes at the Kingspan Stadium, while Connacht, based in Galway, represents the western province and has recently become more competitive after years of relative underperformance.
